For company founder Natasha Milkovich, it all started with her frustrated search to find simple, well-cut white cotton shirts and classically shaped jeans for her twin daughters’ wardrobe. Using her long international experience in the fashion industry, she decided to design and produce her own clothing to give her girls the unique look they were after. With input from her daughters and their friends, colors, items, and shapes were chosen to reflect what they would be happy and comfortable wearing.
The result is a complete capsule collection of girl’s clothing essentials that can be mixed and matched or blended with an existing wardrobe to give an imaginative accent.
But there’s more to it than that! Natasha was also intent on making sure her brand also made a socially responsible contribution. Herself originally from Serbia, the company has developed strong partnerships with small factories in Eastern Europe where there is a rich tradition in skilled garment making. Not only do these factories provide the excellent craftsmanship Natasha required, they also give employment opportunities for women, enabling them to become financially independent and improving living standards for the entire family.
