Halabaloo
Halabaloo founder and designer, Halla Elias, was born in Lebanon and raised in Barbados. She studied Fashion Design at Philadelphia University and began her career designing women's wear. Her first job took her to Paris where she was a designer for Lolita Lempicka. She was there for 1 1/2 years before making the move to New York City. Once in New York, Halla started freelancing as a children's designer and realized how much she loved it. 10 years later, in 1998, she started Halabaloo.
Halabaloo is an upscale girls clothing line for the "downtown debutante-to-be." The designs are whimsical and colorful and it is sold in boutiques and department stores worldwide.
